Matisse inspired disperse dye printing

Service Description

This is a fun and relaxed workshop using paint techniques on to paper to create Matisse inspired collage which will be heat transferred to fabric. You will learn about artist Matisse and the techniques he used to create his world famous collage. Using disperse dyes to paint paper, this paper will be used as the base for the collage. The paper collage will be heat transferred onto synthetic fabric samples and your final design will be transferred on to a cushion cover to take home. No previous experience needed Zara is experienced with teaching all levels and will support you through every stage of the process. The cost of the workshop includes tuition, all materials including a fabric samples and a cushion to take home, refreshments, tea/coffee and homemade cake.  Suitable for beginners age 16+ (age 7-15 welcome if accompanied by a participating adult) contact Zara for discount for under 16. This is a 2.5-hour workshop 10am-1pm, please arrive 5 minutes before so you can settle in for a prompt start. Payment via PayPal is required at time of booking to secure your place, due to limited numbers.
